I use it to prepare observations, or to get coordinates at the scope.

Wonderful app ! At last, I can learn the sky. It works well in southern hemisphere.
A great app just got better! The best way to reconnect with the universe we live in and discover the treasures of the night sky.
Not having tried all the others, I cant say this is the best. But for me this is an amazing app that literally opens up a whole new world for users. Many features and full of information from university sources at a price that is less than a cup of coffee. Just get it.
Hey guys theres a problem, the (85) Io asteroid has the same texture of Io the moon of Jupiter. You should also add clusters, nebulae and exoplanets. 5 stars if you solve it.
Sky Safari is a great learning tool. Thats what I use it for. Learning various orbital mechanics, exploring comparative distances within our Solar System. Cannot recommend enough.
It does everything you could ever want in a star atlas app. Even tracks satellites in real time. More of an awesome educational adventure than a simple star chart. Highly recommended.
I needed something to find major stars in order to set my telescope, since I dont know them by heart. This program is brilliant not just for that but for any Planetarium-like program you may need. The Settings are especially excellent. Great for any astronomy fan.
SkySafari is the best astronomy app out there, bar none. Ive tried the free ones, but they just dont compare in content, ui, or info.
A beautiful app. Highly recommend it. Detailed and easy to use. A great learning experience especially for those who love astronomy and the majesty of science.
I love this app!!!
This is it.
I dont know why but the compass is not accurate. It shows the sun and the moon a little far away in the sky from where they actually are.
Excellent - all versions!
Really is quite amazing.
best app for astronomy fans
The best one Ive been using among.
Great app for all those interested in stargazing and/or astronomy.
I use this in tandem with my star atlas. Very accurate. Every once in a while it puts me a little to the left of stuff, but quickly corrects itself. Love the fast forward feature. Great tool.
I downloaded this app to help my daughter with her 5th grade astronomy class. Weve spent almost an hour calibrating and then trying to recalibrate the app because every time we open it, all of the compass settings are off significantly. I can be viewing the "moon" in the app and have the actual moon at my back. If I move two inches one way or another, lo and behold, theres the moon (in the app) again! Please please fix this! I consider myself fairly handy with an iPhone but I cant make this app function properly.
